(Hong Kong, March 2012)The Langham, Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred T’ang Court restaurant will shortly host an exclusive dinner with Alfred Gratien Champagne. Complimented with “Baby Krug”, the 7:30pm Friday 27 April dinner will be priced at a very reasonable HK$1,888 (plus 10% service charge).

The evening will see T’ang Court’s Michelin Master Chef Siu Hin-Chi craft seven decadent courses ranging from appetisers to desserts. Perfectly balanced with six exquisite Alfred Gratien champagnes, the end result will be a culinary extravaganza that’s sure to excite and delight gourmets. An Alfred Gratien Brand Ambassador, Ms Olivia Boutault will also be on hand explain the winery’s history and share fascinating insights about its bubblies with attendees at the dinner.

Olivia highly recommends Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Rosé Brut (M.V.) – the recepient of a remarkable 92 points from celebrated wine critic Robert Parker. Made with Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this superlative champagne has complex flavours and a fine and very persistent mousse. Paired with Pan-fried diced eye rib with golden-fried garlic accompanied by fried spare rib with mayonnaise, this most delightful of drinks has truly met its match!

About Alfred Gratien:
The house of Alfred Gratien has been producing champagne since 1864. It continues to be one of the world’s most highly regarded specialist houses because of its rigorous selection of grapes and insistence on traditional wine making methods such as barrel-fermenting all vintages in old oak casks. As one of the world’s few remaining "hand-crafted" champagne producers, Alfred Gratien’s annual production is only 300,000 bottles. Due to its wines’ peerlessly high quality, all Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris offer Alfred Gratien champagnes on their wine lists.

Places at the dinner will be very limited and are sure to be in heavy demand. To make an early reservation, please contact 2132 7898.
