THE LANGHAM, HONG KONG CELEBRATES THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE


(Hong Kong, December 2012) To celebrate the Year of the Snake, The Langham, Hong Kong has created festive menus featuring culinary delights at Michelin-starred T’ang Court and the city's favourite buffet restaurant, L’Eclipse.

Chinese New Year menu at T’ang Court
Our Executive Chinese Chef Kwong and his award-winning team have prepared a lavish menu for you to celebrate with families and friends. Dishes include double boiled dried oysters‚ pig’s tongue and sea moss, stewed sliced abalone with seasonal vegetables, braised bamboo pith and assorted fungus, scrambled egg white with crab meat, bird’s nest and Indian olive-almond and dim sum specials such as pan-fried turnip cake, steamed bamboo pith roll with abalone and sea cucumber, steamed dried oyster with shrimp mousse and sea moss which surely satisfy your palates. The menu will be available from 10-16 February.

T’ang Court’s festive puddings
Michelin-starred T’ang Court will also be preparing 3 delicious homemade puddings for 2013. New Year pudding, turnip pudding and taro pudding, all of which are made with the finest ingredients by our award-winning chefs. Priced from HK$168 per box, each pudding makes an impressive gift for relatives and friends. Orders will be taken from January.

Traditional festive highlights at L’Eclipse
To welcome the New Year with wishes, L’Eclipse will be offering fortune dishes from 10-16 February. The 14 traditional festive highlights feature delicacies such as braised pig trotter with Chinese greens, wok fried prawns, honey beans and cashew nuts, Chinese poached chicken and wonton, steamed halibut with golden garlic and steamed bean curd roll and papaya in soup. Dishes available and served during the restaurant’s celebratory lunch and dinner buffets on a rotation basis.
