Explore Every Possibility of Chocolate at Palm Court

(Hong Kong, January 2008) Chocolate is undoubtedly a popular ingredient for desserts, yet it is certainly not JUST for desserts. With its variety of aromas and flavors, it can also be prepared in many different ways. If chocolate desserts can no longer bring you excitement, sample the chocolate savory items specially designed by our Executive Chef, Mark Bannon at the Chocolate Bar at Palm Court every Saturday and Sunday afternoon between 3pm and 6pm.

Excite your taste buds with our savory dishes which are given extra texture, richness and velvetiness by the extraordinary flavor of chocolate. Although we often associate chocolate with desserts, some cultures use it in their traditional savory dishes, such as the Mexican dish Chili Con Carne Y Chocolate which is served on our buffet table. Other chocolate savory items include Salmon Satay with White Chocolate Sauce, Pork Escalope’s with Coffee and White Chocolate Sauce, and Braised Short Ribs with Chocolate, etc. are featured on rotation basis to give you flavor sensation.

Our chocolate bar also serves a wide selection of chocolate delicacies include Chocolate Mille Feuille with Cassis Ganache, White Chocolate Mousse with Sesame and Banana, Triple Chocolate Mousses Torte, Orange Chocolate Decadence Tart, and Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse, Strawberries and Chili Syrup.

At the live action station, Chocolate Mixology (Chocolate based cocktails), Chocolate Crepes and Waffles with condiments like caramelized banana, mixed berries, marshmallows and milk chocolate chips will be freshly prepared by our chefs. Each table also get served a chocolate fondue which you can have your own choice of chocolate from our “chocolate menu”.

The Chocolate Bar is available every Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 6pm. The price is HK$208* per person, including coffee or tea. For reservations, please call 2375-1133.
